Bengaluru police inspector falls off Madhya Pradesh flyover from sleeper bus, dies

A police inspector in Bengaluru, Ravi K B from the Southeast Cybercrime Station, tragically lost his life in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh on Friday. The incident occurred while his team was returning from Lucknow to Indore after investigating a cybercrime case. Inspector B was resting on the upper berth of the sleeper bus when it collided with another vehicle on a flyover near Biaora in Rajgarh district.

The impact of the crash launched the officer from the bus, causing him to plummet approximately 20 feet from the elevated structure. Tragically, Ravi sustained fatal injuries due to the fall. An assistant sub-inspector traveling with him was severely injured, while a constable who was sleeping on the lower berth managed to escape unharmed.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh confirmed that the Southeast CEN police station team had been dispatched to Madhya Pradesh for the purpose of a cybercrime investigation, where they had apprehended two accused. Upon completion of the case, the team had returned to Bengaluru, with Ravi and two others remaining behind to pursue another suspect.
