Atiku: I have evidence Tinubu is 90 years old

Former Vice-President and ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has stated that he possesses evidence suggesting President Bola Tinubu is 90 years old, which he plans to present in court. This claim was made during an interview with the BBC, where Atiku discussed his decision to run for president and argued that his age and health would not prevent him from serving the public.

Atiku emphasized his health and strength, contrasting it with the 90-year-old and sick President Tinubu. He further claimed that his evidence supported his assertion about Tinubu's age, and he intends to present it before a court.

Atiku addressed his suitability for the presidency, stating that contesting for the 2027 election was within his constitutional rights. He highlighted his previous attempts to run for governor, which were thwarted by military authorities during Nigeria's transition to democracy. Atiku also addressed Nigeria's security concerns, blaming the government's "irresponsibility" for the ongoing crisis.

He argued that the country's large population required a proportionate expansion of its security personnel. Atiku compared Nigeria's security situation to that of Egypt, noting that the North African nation had a significantly larger police force relative to its population, which contributed to its peace. Atiku expressed confidence that Nigeria could control its insurgency and insecurity within one year if adequate measures were implemented.
