ADIHEX 2026 opens in Abu Dhabi with record 2,405 exhibitors from 71 countries

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026 commenced on Friday, attracting a record-breaking 2,405 exhibitors from 71 countries. The event, held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, spans ten days until September 6. Organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the exhibition showcases the latest innovations and products in outdoor activities, animal healthcare, and environmental conservation.

This year's edition features 107,000 square meters of exhibition space, a 17% increase from the previous year, and introduces six countries participating for the first time. The event is divided into 15 specialized sectors, including falconry, equestrianism, hunting, safari tourism, veterinary products, environmental conservation, cultural heritage, traditional arts, camping, recreational vehicles, fishing, and marine sports.

Visitors can engage in live demonstrations, cultural activities, competitions, and interactive experiences tailored for various age groups.

The 49th year of the Sheikh Zayed Houbara Programme highlights the conservation efforts of the renowned program. This year, 55 local and international falcon-breeding farms are participating, a 20% increase from last year, with nine making their debut. Eight falcon auctions are held, including four before the exhibition and four during the event.

ADIHEX 2026 aims to celebrate the UAE's hunting, falconry, and equestrian traditions while introducing these practices to younger generations and international visitors. The exhibition emphasizes responsible falconry practices and wildlife conservation, with equestrian activities showcasing their significance in Arab culture. The environmental conservation and cultural heritage sectors promote the protection of natural resources and the preservation of traditional practices.

The event serves as a platform for companies, experts, and organizations to exchange knowledge, form partnerships, and present new products and services. ADIHEX 2026 will continue at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi until September 6.
