Women’s Commission Chairperson visits Women’s police station in Mysuru

On Thursday, Karnataka State Commission for Women Chairperson Nagalakshmi Chaudhary visited the Women's Police Station in Mysuru. During her inspection, she assessed the facilities provided at the station, as well as the services offered to women, the handling of complaints, and the management of cases involving missing women, criminal cases, and the Open House initiative.

Chaudhary directed officials to ensure that the Internal Complaints Committee holds meetings at least once every three months, as mandated by the POSH Act. She emphasized the need for a secure work environment for women staff and the prompt resolution of their grievances.
