White House says no negotiations with Iran, all options on table

The U.S. government has stated that there are no ongoing negotiations with Iran to put an end to the ongoing conflict, with economic pressure being the primary focus instead, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Speaking on Fox News, Leavitt emphasized that the top priority for President Trump is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

She highlighted the recent operations, Operation Epic Fury and Operation Economic Outcast, aimed at dismantling Iran's military and economy. The White House maintains that all options are "on the table" and that the naval blockade against Iran remains in place. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had previously cautioned countries to sever financial ties with Iran or face secondary sanctions as part of the "economic D-Day" plan, though no penalties had been enacted at that time.

Iran has criticized the U.S. plans to unveil new sanctions, with a Qatari official describing the move as an "all-out economic war" following a clash between the two nations over the escalation of economic pressure.
