White House says no negotiations with Iran, all options on table

The United States and Iran are not presently engaged in negotiations to end the ongoing conflict, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who appeared on Fox News on Thursday. The White House is concentrating on exerting economic pressure on Tehran, rather than engaging in talks. President Trump's primary objective has been, and will continue to be, preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

In order to achieve this, the US has carried out Operation Epic Fury to eliminate their military capabilities and Operation Economic Outcast to dismantle their economy. Leavitt emphasized that no negotiations are taking place at the moment, and this stance will persist until the president deems that Iran may engage in meaningful dialogue.

The naval blockade remains in force, and all options are still on the table, as claimed by the White House. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent cautioned other nations on Monday to sever their financial connections with Iran or face secondary sanctions as part of what has been termed "economic D-Day." However, the Treasury Department refrained from implementing penalties.
