Umar Nurmagomedov warns of 'bad news' for Song Yadong at UFC Shanghai

Umar Nurmagomedov is warning Song Yadong that Saturday's UFC Fight Night 286 main event in Shanghai will be a tough fight. The former title challenger, with a record of 20-1 (7-1 UFC), faces Song (23-9-1 MMA, 12-4-1 UFC) at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. Song had previously called Nurmagomedov an easy fight, though he later admitted this was said to hype up the bout.

Nurmagomedov, however, is not an easy opponent for anyone. He emphasized that he will be "bad news for him in the cage" if Song believes the fight will be simple. Nurmagomedov also clarified that his earlier remark about Song being a "punching bag" was not meant as an insult, but rather expressed his disappointment that Song lost to Sean O Malley.

Nurmagomedov praised Song's experience and toughness in the UFC, noting that his debut was three years before his own.
