UGC NET June 2026 Result Live Updates: NTA to release scorecards shortly on ugcnet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination. Candidates can now access their scorecards and check their qualification status by logging into the exam portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The National Testing Agency also revealed that they will publish subject and category-wise cut-offs for the June 2026 session.

Unfortunately, three subjects - English, Commerce, and Sociology - had to be cancelled due to technical issues faced by candidates during the exam. These cancelled exams will be re-conducted on September 9 and 10 across various centers in India. The UGC NET 2026 was conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 22 to June 30, with 87 distinct subjects being tested.

This examination is crucial for candidates seeking Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor positions, and admission to PhD programs in esteemed Indian universities and colleges. The test was carried out twice this year, once in June and once in December, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.
