Twitch suffers major outage following Grand Theft Auto 6's extended look gameplay trailer premiere

Grand Theft Auto VI was unveiled in an extended look on Netflix, offering 26 minutes of gameplay for the highly anticipated game. The footage, captured on a PlayStation 5, followed protagonists Jason and Lucia as they navigated Vice City's criminal underworld. The game introduced new features, such as the ability to pet dogs and seamless character switching between Jason and Lucia.

It also brought back cinematic death cameras, found in previous entries of the series. The couple's apartment showcased their routine, with Lucia changing while Jason explored, interacted with objects, and even watched various shows. Driving in Vice City was significantly improved, with traffic density a clear upgrade. Robbing gas stations and convenience stores remained popular activities, and the game offered various decision-making opportunities, including the choice to split up during a dinner scene.

Off-duty, the couple engaged in activities like basketball, swimming, and visiting nightclubs. The ending featured a high-stakes scenario where Jason and Lucia had to evade capture during a party at a high-rise building. Players could experience the game from both characters' perspectives and interact with the environment in new and exciting ways. Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox on November 19.
