Sadhguru Breaks Down Over 80 Isha Members Missing After Nepal-Tibet Flash Flood | Video

Sadhguru, the spiritual leader of the Isha Foundation, choked with emotion as he recounted the disappearance of 80 members of an Isha group during a flash flood on the Nepal-Tibet border. The group, which had just returned from the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, was at an immigration facility in Gyirong when the flood struck. Sadhguru broke down as he shared on his YouTube channel that the group was preparing to cross over when the disaster occurred.

The leader of the group, a longtime volunteer with the foundation, had informed the Isha Foundation just moments before the flood that the group had reached immigration. However, his Nepalese mobile connection never became active after reporting the crossing, suggesting the group remained inside when the flood hit. Sadhguru confirmed that the missing group comprised 34 men and 46 women, including nationals from the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Nepal, and several other countries.

Three volunteers and a doctor who were staying at nearby hotels were also unaccounted for. Sadhguru cited reports of hundreds missing in Nepal, with the death toll rising to 359 and 910 people still missing. The disaster's cause remains unclear, with speculation pointing to a burst lake and an earthquake. Efforts are underway to reach the affected area, with diplomatic channels being utilized to secure access and locate the missing individuals.
