PM reaffirms Pakistan's appreciation for Saudi Arabia's 'steadfast support, generous assistance'

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently expressed Pakistan's deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia's steadfast support and generous assistance, highlighting the country's pivotal role in promoting peace and stability in the region. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, who has been serving in Pakistan since 2017, paid Shehbaz a farewell call at the Prime Minister's House in Islamabad following his term's completion.

The PMO announced that Shehbaz congratulated the ambassador on his successful tenure and praised his contributions to strengthening the fraternal and strategic ties between the two nations. The ambassador conveyed regards and well-wishes for the health and well-being of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The outgoing envoy expressed profound gratitude to Shehbaz and the government for their warm reception and cooperation, calling his time in Pakistan a deeply memorable and rewarding experience. Ambassador Al-Malki reaffirmed his commitment to further bolstering Pak-Saudi ties. He had also paid farewell visits to President Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif earlier in the week.
