Parkinson praises “really important” Wrexham signings as serious injury blow revealed

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson commended the recent signings of Issa Kabore and Jacques Ekomie, describing them as "really important" additions to the team. Parkinson expressed disappointment over the injury to midfielder George Thomason, who will be out for approximately two months due to a thigh injury sustained during a match against Watford. The manager noted that Thomason has been playing at full-back, and with the addition of full-backs Kabore and Ekomie, Wrexham now has more defensive options.

Kabore, who joined Wrexham on loan from Manchester City last season, returns to the Racecourse Ground permanently. The defender has been with the club for £4.75 million. Parkinson highlighted Kabore's popularity among supporters and the importance of his presence in the team. Meanwhile, Ekomie, who has arrived from French side Angers, is described as a player with similar playing style to Kabore.

Parkinson expressed satisfaction in securing Ekomie's signing after a lengthy negotiation process. Both players have recently completed their training with the team and are expected to contribute positively in the upcoming matches.
