Odibo: Obidient Connect Is Grassroots Machine That ‘ll Turn Passion into Victory in 2027

Nigerians are gearing up for the 2027 presidential election with a newly launched grassroots digital platform called Obidient Connect. Coordinated by Charles Odibo, Director of Media and Communications at the Big Tent Coalition, the platform aims to organize voters at the polling unit level, mobilize the diaspora, and ensure election integrity.

Odibo emphasizes that elections are decided at the 176,864 polling units, not on social media. The platform, described as the "organisational backbone" of the Obidient Coalition Movement, will map every Obidient to their polling unit, create local volunteer structures, engage Nigerians abroad for funding, and safeguard votes through citizen-driven action.

Key features include polling unit mapping, volunteering options, diaspora donations, secure communication, and real-time result transmission on election day. Odibo argues that the current government failed to meet its social contract, and 2027 is about more than changing leadership – it's about saving Nigeria from decline. He urges Nigerians to join Obidient Connect to turn their passion into a structured, grassroots-driven electoral machine, ensuring their PVCs count and their voices matter.
