New Batch of Qatari Real Estate brokers licensed after taking legal oath

The Ministry of Justice in Qatar recently licensed 43 real estate brokers as part of a new batch after they took the legal oath before the Real Estate Brokers Affairs Committee. These individuals and brokerage companies completed the necessary licensing procedures, adhering to the provisions of Law No. 22 of 2017 that governs real estate brokerage activities, and successfully finished the mandatory training course for licensed brokers.

Assistant Undersecretary Amer Saeed Al Ghafri, chairman of the Real Estate Brokers Affairs Committee, highlighted the significance of these newly licensed brokers. He stated that their inclusion in the pool of authorized real estate professionals will bolster the continuous growth and development of the sector, increase its investment appeal, and safeguard the rights of parties engaged in property transactions.

By working with qualified, licensed brokers who are well-versed in the legal requirements of real estate transactions, the Committee aims to ensure smooth and efficient property dealings.

Ghafri stressed the Committee's continuous emphasis on dealing exclusively with licensed real estate brokers. This practice not only protects the rights of all parties involved but also ensures that transactions are executed properly and efficiently. The Ministry of Justice is actively reorganizing and regulating the real estate brokerage profession in line with Law No. 22 of 2017, with the goal of supporting the national economy, improving mechanisms and practices in the real estate market, and offering professional training and development to brokers, office owners, and Qatari brokers alike.
