A catastrophic flood in Nepal has resulted in the disappearance of 644 people from 33 countries, according to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). The majority of the missing are Nepali nationals (127) and tourists from India (177), the US (77), the UK (57), and Malaysia (29), as reported by Reuters.

The death toll has risen to 165, with 165 confirmed dead and the number expected to increase further as rescue operations continue. At least 73 people have been injured in the flood-related incidents. No contact has been established with 826 people in Nepal, with 579 of them being travellers, including members of the Nepal Army, police, and other armed forces.
