Ministerial Reshuffle: Pelpuo, Brogya Genfi Dispatched To Jubilee House

President John Dramani Mahama has implemented another round of ministerial realignments in Ghana, moving Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo and Ernest Brogya Genfi out of their previous roles and into new positions. The changes, revealed by a statement from the President's spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, come into effect immediately. Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo, who previously held the role of Minister of Labour, Employment and Job Creation, has been reassigned to serve as the Minister of State for Special Initiatives.

His replacement at the Labour Ministry is Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, who will now head the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Job Creation. The specific duties that Pelpuo will handle in his new role have not been disclosed by the Presidency. In addition to Pelpuo's reassignment, Deputy Minister of Defence Ernest Brogya Genfi has been deployed to take on the role of Presidential Advisor on National Resilience and Emergency Preparedness.

These moves are part of Mahama's ongoing strategy to reshape his government and assign officials to areas deemed crucial to the administration's objectives. The Presidency did not provide any justification for the latest reassignments.
