The update aims to deter the small percentage of users who attempt to disable the system intentionally. Additionally, Meta is launching a marketing campaign to educate consumers about the intended purpose of the glasses and the LED light's role in signaling when photos or videos are being captured.

The company is also quick to emphasize that it remains committed to addressing potential security concerns and will continue to roll out updates to ensure the reliability of the capture LED in alerting bystanders when photos or videos are being taken.
