KI: Nvidia erwartet 108 Milliarden Dollar Umsatz in drei Monaten – Aktie reagiert deutlich

Nvidia, the world's leading provider of high-performance processors for artificial intelligence (AI), has surpassed Wall Street's expectations with its revenue forecast for the upcoming third quarter. The tech giant predicted sales of $108 billion, slightly higher than the $104 billion estimated by analysts. Nvidia's performance in the previous quarter was also impressive, with both revenue and profits increasing significantly.

The company's earnings per share rose to $2.22, while revenue reached approximately $96 billion, both surpassing expectations. Following the earnings report, the stock gained more than five percent in after-hours trading, after previously declining by roughly 1.5 percent during the day. Nvidia has gained 12.4 percent over the course of the year, while its competitors AMD and Intel have more than doubled in price.

According to a report by Business Insider and The Information on Wednesday night, Nvidia engaged in talks for a potential acquisition of Hugging Face, an AI startup valued at over $13 billion by insiders. Nvidia and Hugging Face have not yet commented on the Bloomberg news agency's inquiries.
