Frieze Abu Dhabi to feature 84 galleries from 36 countries

Frieze Abu Dhabi, an art fair featuring 84 galleries from 36 countries, will run from November 19-22 at Manarat Al Saadiyat. The inaugural edition of the fair, established in partnership with DCT Abu Dhabi, aims to strengthen Abu Dhabi's position as a global hub for art and culture. The exhibition will showcase works from antiquity to the present day, with participation from leading galleries such as Gagosian, Pace Gallery, Thaddaeus Ropac, and Timothy Taylor.

Frieze Abu Dhabi will be divided into four main sections: Galleries, Focus, Frieze Masters Abu Dhabi, and Global Futures, each presenting unique perspectives on art and culture. The fair will also introduce the Frieze Abu Dhabi Artist Award, Frieze Sculpture, and In Dialogue, alongside curated talks exploring various aspects of the art world.

Frieze Abu Dhabi is part of Saadiyat Cultural District, alongside other prominent cultural institutions like Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, which is set to open in December.
