EPL: Nelson leaves Arsenal after 18 years

Arsenal have announced that Reiss Nelson, their long-serving winger, will be leaving the club after 18 years of service. The 26-year-old, who joined Arsenal's academy as a youngster, made 90 first-team appearances for the Gunners, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists. Nelson was part of Arsenal's FA Cup-winning squad in 2020 and also played in the club's FA Community Shield victories in 2017 and 2020.

During his tenure at Arsenal, he had four loan spells, including a stint at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim and Feyenoord. A statement on Arsenal's website confirmed that the club agreed to terminate Nelson's contract with immediate effect, making him a free agent. Arsenal expressed their gratitude to Nelson for his contributions to the club and wished him well for the future.
