Eligible SOCAR Users Can Now Get Up To RM200 In Mobility Credits On GoCar

Earlier this month, SOCAR announced they would be discontinuing their car-sharing operations in Malaysia with the service concluding on 31 August 2026. Existing users are now required to find alternative rental platforms. One such alternative is GoCar Mobility (GoCar), which has introduced a promotional offer for eligible SOCAR users.

This offer provides up to RM200 in mobility credits to assist users in transitioning to the platform. Users can receive discounts on their services, with up to RM20 per GoCar Share booking allowing them to save on up to ten trips. The offer is valid until 31 December 2026, so bookings must be made by then. To claim this offer, users must sign up for GoCar either through the app or the official website.

Registration runs from 19 August until 30 September 2026, so late sign-ups will not be eligible. After registration, users must submit a screenshot of their existing SOCAR wallet to marketing@gocar.my for verification. Upon verification, a promotional code will be emailed to the user, which must be used during reservation to apply the discount.

This offer allows former SOCAR customers to continue accessing car rental services. GoCar operates across Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bahru and serves over 40,000 users annually. Its fleet includes various vehicles such as compact cars, sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and electric vehicles. Additionally, GoCar runs a peer-to-peer marketplace, GoCar P2P, where vehicle owners can list their cars for rent.
