Eko 2026 LOC Unveils Official Website

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the inaugural National Intermediate Games, known as Eko 2026, has launched its official website at eko2026.org. The goal of this new platform is to provide real-time updates and easy access to information about the multi-sport event. The website has been designed with simplicity and user experience in mind, featuring easy-to-read fonts and a user-friendly interface.

This ensures that visitors can quickly find the information they need and complete tasks without any hassle. The website's logical navigation system guides users directly to the relevant pages, making it a reliable resource throughout the Games. Gbenga Omotoso, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, explained that the website will serve as a dynamic hub for updates and will help both first-time visitors and athletes learn more about the city of Excellence.

Omotoso also pointed out that Lagos has a proud history of hosting major sporting events, including the maiden National Sports Festival in 1973 and the 2012 edition, which is still considered one of the best-organized. He assured stakeholders that Eko 2026 will build on this legacy, aiming to set new standards in youth sports development.

Omotoso emphasized that with Eko 2026, Lagos is poised to host the most vibrant Games in Nigeria's history.
