Dolphins EDGE licking his chops to sack Falcons QB Tua Tagovailoa

The Atlanta Falcons will start veteran Tua Tagovailoa against the Miami Dolphins on Friday in the preseason finale. Tagovailoa spent his first six seasons in the league with Miami before being released. Dolphins fans are reportedly planning to boo the former Pro Bowl quarterback when he returns to Hard Rock Stadium. However, one of Tagovailoa's former teammates, edge rusher Chop Robinson, is looking forward to the chance to sack him.

Robinson said he is excited for the opportunity, noting that they couldn't hit him in practice but now have the chance in the game. Despite his playful remarks, Robinson also expressed his respect for Tagovailoa, calling him a "great teammate" and wishing him well in Atlanta. Over his first two seasons in Miami, Robinson recorded 47 tackles, 10 sacks, and 21 QB hits in 32 games, including four starts.

The Dolphins hope the third-year edge rusher can make a strong impact this season under new head coach Jeff Hafley. Tagovailoa threw for 18,166 yards, 120 touchdowns, and 59 interceptions over six years with the Dolphins, leading the team to a 44-32 record in 76 starts.
