Boston Scientific, a prominent US-based global medical technology company, has reported that it fell victim to a cyberattack, resulting in a "global disruption" to its operations and IT systems. The intrusion was detected, and the company activated its incident response protocols, bringing in third-party cybersecurity experts to aid in the assessment and containment of the threat.
