This collaboration extends beyond Saudi Arabia, with the largest EWC yet taking place in Paris, supporting over 2,000 professional players and 200 clubs from more than 100 countries. The tournament featured 25 competitions and 24 game titles, boasting a prize pool surpassing $75 million.

This shift to Paris marks a significant milestone in EWC's international expansion, reflecting the growing popularity and influence of esports.

stc's dedication to the gaming ecosystem is evident through its support of professional competition, amateur players, broadcast access, and the digital infrastructure behind esports events. Throughout the 2026 EWC, stc maintained a strong presence, with the stc Arena hosting various esports titles such as VALORANT, League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, EA FC 26, Overwatch 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Stc also established an exclusive Player’s Lounge and Contenders to cater to the growing esports community.

Beyond the professional circuit, the partnership opened doors for amateur players, with more than 10,000 enthusiasts engaging in over 200 tournaments across 16 games through the Warriors Cup. Additionally, stc extended the tournament's reach to a broader audience through a dedicated EWC channel on stc tv, which delivered daily coverage with live matches, highlights, analysis, and recorded over three million plays by August 23.

The success of this partnership is further highlighted by the tournament's global viewership. In its inaugural year in Riyadh, EWC attracted over 500 million viewers, and in Paris, this number grew to three million on-site visitors, with stc increasing its network coverage by over 20%. Recognizing stc's contributions, the Communications, Space and Technology Commission has named the group a Platinum Gaming Operator for ten consecutive cycles.
