BJP seeks apology from T.N. Industries Minister over her comments on Vajpayee

BJP State president Nainar Nagenthran has called for an apology from Tamil Nadu Industries Minister S. Keerthana following her remarks about former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Nagenthran alleged that Keerthana had "distorted history" in her comments about Madurai activist Chinnapillai. The BJP leader shared a video clip of Keerthana speaking about Chinnapillai, stating that the Padma Shri recipient was working for women's empowerment and that Vajpayee had sought her blessings in 2001.

Nagenthran criticized Keerthana's statement that Chinnapillai had invented an O-ring to prevent oil leaks, which he claimed was false. The BJP leader rejected Keerthana's explanation for her remarks and demanded an apology.
