ASUS Introduces Three New Ace Gaming Monitors For Esports

ASUS has unveiled three new gaming monitors aimed at esports enthusiasts under the Ace line of products. The trio of monitors - the ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace, ROG Strix OLED XG259QDPG Ace, and ROG Strix OLED XG259QDNS Ace - share a common 24.5-inch size but differ in panel types, coatings, and refresh rates.

The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace, the flagship model, boasts a Tandem 1080p WOLED panel, 1,700 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support for enhanced HDR. Its most notable feature is its lightning-fast 720Hz refresh rate, outpacing the other two models.

The ROG Strix OLED XG259QDPG Ace offers a slightly slower 560Hz refresh rate, but compensates with ASUS's "BlackShield" film, anti-glare low-reflection coating, and a claim of up to 40% improved black levels in brighter environments, along with a 2.5x increase in panel hardness for easier cleaning.

The most budget-friendly option is the ROG Strix OLED XG259QDNS Ace, which maintains a 360Hz refresh rate, but provides a more mainstream price point for the general consumer. It also comes with a RBB QF-OLED panel, BlackShield Film, and anti-glare low-reflection coating.

Complementing these monitors is the ROG Gladius IV Ace, an ergonomic gaming mouse designed to minimize muscle strain. It features ROG SpeedNova 8K Gen II technology, an enhanced receiver with a large antenna, ASUS's ROG AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor (65,000dpi), 20,000fps scanning, and 8,000Hz polling. The mouse also offers three stackable weights (3g, 5g, and 7g) for customizable feel and comes with a travel-ready case.
