Arsenal's Guimaraes and Konsa could be available at Villa, Arteta says

Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta has shared an update on Bruno Guimaraes' fitness ahead of the upcoming Premier League match against Aston Villa on Monday. Guimaraes played in Arsenal's 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield but was absent from their first league game against Coventry. According to a statement released by the club on Thursday, Arteta indicated that the Brazilian midfielder is a potential selection for the upcoming match.

Arteta stated, "Yes, potentially available." He further mentioned that Guimaraes has been participating in training sessions and that the team is managing his workload to ensure he is in the best possible condition for the match on Monday. Furthermore, Arteta confirmed that new signing Ezri Konsa is also available and could make his debut against his former club, Aston Villa.

The manager also provided updates on Jurrien Timber and William Saliba, who have yet to feature in any league match this season. Arteta described Jurrien's progress as "really well" and indicated that his workload has been increased. He explained that for Saliba, the current strategy involves conservative load management, which is expected to take some time.
