Taking photos and editing them for friends has become common in today's world. Social media platforms are flooded with images and illustrations that accompany conversations. People share their daily lives through pictures without any accompanying text. Due to this, requests for photo editing courses have increased recently. Just as people invest time and effort to improve their writing skills, many are now working on refining their photography skills.

However, they also receive questions like, "Can't you just ask an AI to do it?" Exploring this further led me to try AI photo editing using ChatGPT. I gave the AI three tasks - identifying the subject of the photo, making corrections based on the analysis, and explaining the editing intent. The AI model used was '5.6 SOL', known for handling high-dimensional tasks, with the inference level set to 'maximum'.

The AI analyzed a landscape photo with a sky and mountains as the background, recognizing elements like good composition, but also noting issues like distracting objects, blue-biased color, and lack of contrast. After the editing process, the image looked sharper and more three-dimensional than before. Compared to the original photo, the AI focused on elements like the Manhattan skyline and used AI-generated imaging techniques to enhance the sense of depth.

The editing also included removing objects like a traffic jam and a power cable. The final result exceeded my expectations and demonstrated the potential of AI in photo editing. During a test with Manhattan's skyline, the AI focused on the sunset, balancing warm and cool tones, and adjusted brightness in shadowed areas. I also provided specific instructions for the AI to focus on the New Yorker Building as the main subject.

The final edited photo met my expectations and showed the AI's ability to enhance a scene's natural beauty. After multiple editing sessions, I found that AI photo editing requires detailed setup and clear communication of user needs. The AI actively participated in the process, even suggesting some editing directions and seeking approval. The AI's conversation, which served as my guide, was fixed at the top for future reference.
