🚨 Agreement in principle for Barcola transfer, eye-watering fee!

Liverpool are making significant progress in acquiring PSG forward Bradley Barcola, with a deal potentially worth up to £120 million. Sources indicate that negotiations have advanced in the past 48 hours, and a full agreement is now imminent. Paris St-Germain had initially valued Barcola at £145 million, but Liverpool are prepared to meet a minimum offer of just over £100 million, which could rise based on Barcola's individual and team success.

The 23-year-old French forward is right-footed but prefers to play on the left wing, creating uncertainty around Cody Gakpo's future at Anfield. While Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have also shown interest in Barcola, Liverpool remains the frontrunner. The Reds are actively seeking a right winger, having previously rejected bids for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh and Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr.

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola confirmed that the club is actively trying to improve and fill the attacking position, although he could not guarantee anything regarding Gakpo's future.
