Your guide to the Platt Tech high school football team ahead of the 2026 season

The 2026 football season for Platt Tech, also known as the Panthers, promises to be an exciting one. Head coach Vincent Camera, who has been at the helm since 2007, expects his team to repeat their championship success despite the loss of six seniors. Most notably, they will miss Caleb Brickhouse, the team's all-time leading rusher, who is now attending CCSU after his outstanding senior season.

Returning starters include six defensive players and six offensive players, with only a few changes to the roster. Notable players include Antwoine Pittman, who returns after his outstanding 1,000-yard rushing season, and Peyton George, who will step into the starting quarterback role after Maddux Vargas shifted to tight end.

Platt Tech's offense will continue to utilize the double tight end, double-wing system, with familiar faces in new positions. The team's defense is solid, with six starters returning and additional talent from linebackers Johnny Lopez, Tyler Dawson, and Vin Pixley.

Special teams will be led by K/P Paul Duh, who has shown promise and could be recognized for his performance. With this core group of experienced players and a strong coaching staff, Coach Camera believes the Panthers have the necessary pieces to repeat their championship run in the 2026 season.
