THAO – “Catch As Catch Can” (Feat. Neko Case)

THAO is preparing to release her highly anticipated comeback album, Show Me. Previously, she has shared singles Fossils and Sick Of The Times, featuring artists Tune-Yards and the Linda Lindas. Now, she has unveiled the collaboration with Neko Case titled Catch As Catch Can. This song draws inspiration from images of bodies surrendering to each other in the ocean, a remote lighthouse, and the doorway of a cottage by the sea.

THAO elaborates on the imagery, stating that it creates a powerful and evocative atmosphere. He further expresses his joy at having Neko Case's voice featured on the track, noting that many miles of touring have exposed him to her incredible singing. THAO recounts the emotional impact of hearing Neko's majestic voice on her album Fox Confessor Brings The Flood, which left him feeling as if he were standing amidst mountains and deserts, with his heart in his throat.

The artist has been honored and fortunate to have opened for Neko multiple times over the years, admiring her career trajectory and her approach to the music industry. The release of Catch As Catch Can marks another milestone in THAO's comeback journey.
