Sor reassures fans after slow Amedspor start

Super Eagles winger Yira Sor is gradually settling into his new life and career at Turkish Super Lig side Amedspor, according to recent reports. Despite a scoreless start to his time at the club, Sor remains confident that goals and assists will soon follow, as highlighted by PUNCH Sports Extra. The 23-year-old has made two appearances for Amedspor since his move, but has yet to score or provide an assist.

Sor acknowledges that adapting to a new country and league can be challenging, but he has been warmly welcomed by both the fans and the club's management. The Nigerian winger's transfer to Amedspor came with a €3 million deal and a three-year contract. Prior to joining Amedspor, Sor played for Genk from 2023 to 2026, but his time at the Belgian club was interrupted by injuries. Sor made his debut for the Nigerian national team in March and is now aiming to secure regular playing time and strong form in Turkey as he builds on his growing international reputation.
