Shivpuri Woman Throws Boiling Water On Husband Over Electric Scooter Charging Dispute

Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh: A woman reportedly threw boiling water on her husband, resulting in severe burns to his face, stomach, and back, following a heated argument over charging an electric scooter in the Badapura area of Shivpuri district. The incident transpired under the jurisdiction of Dehat police station. Kapil Jatav, the injured man, sustained injuries to his face, stomach, and back, necessitating admission to the district hospital for treatment.

The incident allegedly began earlier in the day, with the couple arguing over the matter, which had been a point of contention for some time. As tensions escalated, Sona Jatav, identified as the wife, allegedly began verbally abusing Kapil, who requested her to cease. In the ensuing confrontation, Sona, who was holding a container of hot water, is accused of throwing it at Kapil, causing burns to his exposed skin areas.

The couple's family members promptly transported Kapil to the hospital, where he is currently receiving medical care and is listed as an inpatient. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, collecting statements from the couple, their family, and any potential witnesses.
