MSDF, Qatar Chamber exchange views on enhancing cooperation in training programs

Doha, Qatar - The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) in Qatar has held discussions with a delegation from the Qatar Chamber (QC) regarding potential enhancements to their cooperation, with a focus on training and development programs.

During the meeting, Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansouri, Acting General Manager of QC, emphasized the chamber's commitment to supporting and empowering productive families and home-based entrepreneurs. QC plays a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurship, diversifying income sources, and unlocking new opportunities for meaningful economic engagement.

Al Mansouri pointed out that productive families constitute a significant segment of successful entrepreneurs, as numerous home-based ventures have achieved remarkable success in producing meritorious products and services that can compete in the market. He stressed that creating a conducive environment is essential to help these ventures grow, transition from home-based operations to small and medium-sized enterprises, and eventually reach a broader consumer base.

The QC leader highlighted that the organization places special attention on advancing the capabilities of home-based entrepreneurs. To achieve this, he emphasized the importance of training and rehabilitation, particularly in areas such as project management, marketing, digital marketing, cost management, pricing, customer service, and product quality improvement. By equipping entrepreneurs with these essential skills, QC aims to empower them to manage their businesses effectively based on proper business practices.

Moreover, Al Mansouri stressed the need for collaboration among various relevant entities to establish an integrated system that enables entrepreneurs to overcome challenges and transform their ideas and skills into thriving, sustainable ventures.
