Pemuda PKR dakwa Akmal cuba ‘alih tiang gol’ berkait RCI TH

Ketua Pembaharuan PKR, Danish Hairudin, is accusing Dr. Akmal Saleh of Umno of being selective in his approach to the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report of Tabung Haji (TH). Hairudin claims that Akmal is avoiding addressing major issues such as creative accounting, poor management, and 100% investment losses. Hairudin calls for Akmal and Umno to answer and fight these issues instead of avoiding them.

He asks for the entire report to be disclosed, not a half-baked version, to avoid misleading the public. Hairudin also questions Umno's actions in trying to prevent the formation of a new RCI to investigate TH's management and administration, given that the RCI was established before Anwar Ibrahim became Prime Minister in 2022. Hairudin urges Umno through their MPs to debate the report in the Dewan Rakyat and provide any new evidence to the authorities.

He demands that all issues be addressed, even those that may be uncomfortable for Umno, and not to dodge responsibility by just picking and choosing what to focus on. He warns against repeating the same tactics as in the 1MDB scandal, where the core issue is avoided and other issues are raised. Ultimately, he urges for the real issues to be brought to light and not obscured or whitewashed.
