Pathetic KL City play with only 10 men for entire Super League match

Kuala Lumpur City faced a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Kuching City in a Super League match played at KLFA Stadium on Wednesday. The City Boys were barred from registering new players due to a FIFA-imposed registration ban, forcing them to field only 10 players for the entire game. Coach Datuk Dollah Salleh named five defenders - Adam Nor Azlin, Kamal Azizi Zabri, Syazwan Andik Ishak, Giancarlo Gallifuoco and Azrif Nasrulhaq Badrul Hisham - as well as midfielders J. Partiban, D. Kenny Pallraj and S. Sharvin.

Captain Paulo Josue was the sole attacker, with Fazrul Amir Md Zaman the only substitute. Kuching City took advantage of this numerical disadvantage from the third minute, scoring their first goal through Ajdin Mujagic. Their lead grew to two goals by the 25th minute when Jerome Mpacko Etame added to the score. However, the Cats were left with ten men when captain James Okwuosa was sent off in the 45th minute.

Despite this setback, Kuching continued to dominate the match, with Etame scoring three more goals in the 48th, 52nd and 93rd minutes. Mujagic also added a second goal in the 59th minute. The result highlighted the extent of KL City's crisis, forcing them to play a Super League match with a depleted squad.
