Papase Church of Christ donates clothes, cash to Nsawam Female Prison

The Papase Church of Christ, located in the Ga West Municipality, recently presented over 200 pieces of assorted clothing and an unspecified sum of money to the female inmates at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison. The donation was made to enhance the living conditions of the inmates and supplement the support provided by the government.

Evangelist Edward Boakye, the preacher of Nsumia Church of Christ, emphasized that the gesture was part of the church's commitment to helping those in need, citing Jesus Christ's teachings on visiting and caring for prisoners. Boakye highlighted the church's mission to address the physical and material needs of vulnerable people, stating that they would continue to support the weak and vulnerable whenever possible.

Sergeant Grace Saaba, the Chaplain of the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, thanked the Papase Church of Christ for the donation and urged others to support the prison authorities and inmates, stating that such interventions provide inmates with a sense of belonging, hope, and encouragement as they work towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
