Octave opens global tech, innovation centre in Hyderabad

Nasdaq-listed Octave Intelligence plc inaugurated its global technology and innovation centre in Hyderabad on Wednesday (August 26, 2026). The 2 lakh sq ft facility will serve as a key technology and innovation hub for the firm, with teams focusing on software engineering, artificial intelligence, data, cloud, product development and other advanced technology capabilities.

Speaking at the inauguration, Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu highlighted the city's growing appeal for global firms, citing its engineering talent, specialised expertise and stable ecosystem. Octave's CEO Mattias Stenberg echoed the sentiment, stating that the Hyderabad location is an ideal spot for the company's next phase of growth, with the firm currently employing around 7,200 employees in 45 countries.

The centre's inauguration was attended by key company executives, including CEO Mattias Stenberg and Mr. Sridhar Babu.
