Missing Kafa teacher found safe in Kedah

George Town, Aug 26 - The police in Penang are actively investigating the disappearance of a Kafa teacher, Mohamad Hijazi Zamry, 26, who vanished after leaving his apartment in Sungai Ara. Southwest District Police Chief ACP Anuwal Ab Wahab stated that the public should refrain from speculating or spreading unverified information, as it may cause community anxiety.

He further urged individuals with any information about Hijazi's whereabouts to report it directly to the police at 04-8662222 or the nearest police station. At 155cm tall, weighing 54kg, and possessing a tuesian complexion with black hair, Hijazi was last seen wearing an orange long-sleeved T-shirt and black long pants. His father, Zamri Saidin, 53, revealed that Hijazi had left his home to perform Isyak prayers at a nearby surau and requested to also attend the Isyak prayers there, having previously done so with him and his younger sibling.

Hijazi, who was set to marry in September 2 after a year-long engagement, had already completed all wedding preparations. In a separate incident, Supt Jay January Siowou of South Seberang Perai District Police disclosed that they are currently searching for Nik Nursyazwani Aishah Jefri Arwan Shah, a 15-year-old girl, who was reported missing after allegedly leaving her home in Nibong Tebal without returning until today.
