Matlala refuses to answer Senona questions at Madlanga Commission

Alleged crime kingpin Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala testified at the Madlanga Commission that he did not reveal his relationship with former KwaZulu-Natal Hawks head General Lesetja Senona due to an ongoing investigation. The commission is examining Matlala's interactions with various law enforcement officials. Evidence presented at the hearing indicates that Senona attended a meeting with KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi and Matlala to discuss the Medicare24 tender.

When asked by Advocate Adila Hassim about the nature of the investigation, Matlala stated that he is under investigation for corruption.
