Italy preparing new aid package for Ukraine

Italy’s Ministry of Defense is set to unveil a fresh package of military support for Ukraine, according to Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, as reported by UATV English. The specific contents of the package will be disclosed to COPASIR, the parliamentary committee responsible for intelligence matters, once finalized by the relevant government bodies.

Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani assured that the aid will be delivered to Ukraine as swiftly as feasible. Tajani, alongside Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti, pledged to sign the package, emphasizing Italy’s unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine. The assistance extends beyond weaponry, as Italy is providing backing in various areas, including political, financial, and energy sectors.

Tajani highlighted the significance of energy assistance as winter looms, stressing its critical importance. Moreover, Italy has pledged to continue offering humanitarian aid to Ukraine throughout the upcoming cold season.
