Hundreds evacuated in Apeldoorn after suspected drugs lab found

In Apeldoorn, around 220 residents were evacuated from three apartment complexes following the discovery of a suspected drugs laboratory in one of the buildings. The order to evacuate was issued around 10am on Wednesday, affecting residents of approximately 100 homes on Eburonenstraat. Police were alerted after an individual reportedly threw fireworks from a balcony, leading them to uncover weapons and what they presumed to be a drugs lab inside a flat.
