Former Manitoba MP facing more charges after hundreds of guns seized

A former Manitoba Member of Parliament is facing additional gun charges after police discovered a large cache of weapons and explosives at his residence. Inky Mark, who served in the House of Commons for five terms representing Dauphin-Swan River, is now charged with 26 new offenses in addition to the twelve he faced in July following a raid on his home.

The charges include weapons trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possessing over six kilograms of explosives. Police found 445 firearms, including unsafely stored weapons, $300,000 in cash, and a cannon at Mark's Dauphin residence. He was rearrested on August 12 and has since been released on an undertaking.
