Fire breaks out in Triam Udom Suksa School library

Bangkok, 26 August 2026 - A fire erupted in the library of Triam Udom Suksa School, situated on Phaya Thai Road, prompting the deployment of firefighters and rescue crews. The Bangrak Fire and Rescue Station confirmed they were called to the scene to aid in extinguishing the blaze, which occurred in Pathum Wan district under the jurisdiction of the Banthat Thong Fire and Rescue Station.

Reports indicated the fire ignited at 10:03 a.m. in a two-storey concrete structure. The outbreak commenced on the ground floor in the library, where flames engulfed bookshelves and an air-conditioning unit. The inferno was confined to an area spanning approximately 5 square meters.
