Bhopal Firing Caught On Camera: Shots Fired At Parked Vehicles Over Old Enmity

At around 3 am on Wednesday, a residential colony under Kajlikheda police station limits in Bhopal witnessed a shocking incident where two miscreants fired shots at parked vehicles. A video of the incident has surfaced, purportedly depicting the accused individuals engaging in the act of firing.

Complainant Ajay Bairagi lodged a complaint with the Kajlikheda police station about the alleged incident. Bairagi alleged that the police did not register the First Information Report (FIR) immediately, requesting him to return at a later time. However, Kajlikheda police station incharge Pallavi Pandey denied these allegations, stating that immediate action was taken and efforts were being made to trace and apprehend the accused.

According to Bairagi, Jeetu Yadav, a resident of Bairagarh Chichli, fired the shots due to a longstanding rivalry between the two sides. The two communities have had a history of disputes. Jeetu Yadav has a past criminal record and is on the watchlist of Kolar police station.

Police are currently analyzing the video footage to ascertain the sequence of events. They are also trying to identify how many people were present at the spot during the firing and the trigger for the dispute. Furthermore, police commissioner Sanjay Kumar took serious note of the complainant's allegations of police negligence and attached Kajlikheda police station in-charge Pallavi Pandey and sub-inspector Mahesh Manjhi late on Wednesday evening.
