Astropad Launches Rock Paper Pencil 4.0 With New Graphite Apple Pencil Tip

Astropad has released an updated version of its Rock Paper Pencil combo, now at version 4.0, designed for the iPad. This combo combines a screen protector with a custom Apple Pencil tip to deliver a paper-like writing experience. The new version includes two Apple Pencil tips - one with a smooth ballpoint feel and another that simulates a soft graphite pencil.

The graphite tip is said to feel like a 2B pencil, perfect for sketching or shading, and even produces a pencil-on-paper sound. The ballpoint tip mimics the feel of a smooth gel pen, ideal for writing and linework. The screen protector, reusable and residue-free, uses Astropad's NanoCling technology to attach without adhesive. Its paper-like texture comes from a microscopic surface that adds slight friction to enhance control.

The screen protector can be stored in a protective sleeve when not in use.
