Mathias Albert, an expert, describes this generation as increasingly not only uncertain but also without prospects, even going so far as to label them as "the lost generation."

However, it is premature to label this as a dystopian scenario, as the full extent of the impact of AI on the job market remains uncertain. Those with medium-level educational qualifications and vocational training appear to be less affected, as AI is unlikely to replace tasks such as fixing roofs or water taps. Yet, the emergence of this issue among other young people is a cause for concern.

Many have become accustomed to a lack of opportunities, not just among those with poor starting conditions and little to no academic qualifications, but also among those with higher educational levels. The rise of artificial intelligence may make their qualifications redundant, causing uncertainty about future job prospects. This has led to a growing sense of apathy, polarization, and lack of perspective among young people.
