Zebby Matthews and Josh Bell lift Minnesota Twins to 9-6 win over Athletics

Zebby Matthews limited the Athletics to six hits and one run in seven innings, while Josh Bell drove in three runs for the Minnesota Twins, securing a 9-6 victory on Monday night. Byron Buxton contributed with three hits and four RBIs, including a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth. Rookie Kaelen Culpepper had four hits for his first multi-hit game, and Ryan Kreidler hit a go-ahead homer.

The Twins snapped a three-game losing streak, with Matthews (8-8) winning his fourth consecutive start of August. Tommy Nance and Yoendrys Gómez also pitched strong, preventing the Athletics from mounting a comeback.
