‘We Will Repay Uba Sani At The Polls’—Fityanul-Islam Leader

Fityanul-Islam leader Sheikh Rabiu Abdullahu Zaria praised Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for proposing the Kaduna State Religious Commission, which will benefit adherents of all religions and sects. During the annual Maulid Nabiyyi celebrations, Sheikh Rabiu highlighted that the Governor has consistently supported religious activities since taking office.

He emphasized that Governor Sani has never declined their requests, stating that no Governor has been more supportive of their sect than him. The Islamic cleric promised that Fityanul-Islam would repay the Governor's kindness by ensuring he completes his first term victoriously and secures a second term, eventually rising to a higher position.

Governor Uba Sani echoed Sheikh Rabiu's sentiments, praising the Maulid celebration as an opportunity for individuals to reflect on and emulate the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He encouraged everyone to follow the prophet's lifestyle, which embraced people irrespective of their religion or ethnicity. The Governor emphasized that by adopting the prophet's teachings, people can live peacefully as a society and nation.

He recalled how the Prophet (SAW) governed inclusively, regardless of whether his subjects were Muslims or Christians, and urged contemporary leaders to emulate his inclusive approach.

Reflecting on the current peace and stability in Kaduna State, Governor Sani commended the Fityanul-Islam Kaduna State branch for organizing the important Maulid gathering. He affirmed that his government will continue to work closely with the Fityanul-Islam branch to ensure peace and stability in the state. The Governor noted that the diverse faiths represented in the event, including Muslims and Christians, underscored Kaduna's commitment to judging people based on their character rather than their religion.
